Shop for an amp that is stable at 4 ohms or less and doesn't output more power than the speaker can handle. Consider the volume of your car- if this is where you want this stuff. It doesn't take a kilowatt to make a lot of sound pressure in a car. Take a trip to a car stereo store that has amps on display for demonstration so you get a better idea what the effect is of high power and how much may be sufficient for you. Get them to show you some practical and efficient enclosures. Make sure you have room in the car for what you select, and enough electricity to run it and still be able to use the headlights without killing the battery. Don't let them sell you any stiffening capacitors, they're a waste of money.
