How are people not prisoners of their culture?

The only people who will ever make you feel like a prisoner of your culture are the people who believe in your culture. It's actually kind of funny. People are always willing to convert people into their culture, but do not like it if people decide to leave.

That's just human nature though. No one likes losing anything.
