I am looking to buy a horse soon and theres this horse I used to ride that I am interested in. He is four (almost five) and a TB/paint cross. I helped train him a bit so I know his behavior, capabilities, etc. He has really good conformation and looks more on the TB side and is about 16 hh as for features .His coat, however is black and white (mostly black with a few white sploches on shoulders and one on back and then four knee high stockings- he is VERY cute) He is well behaved (most of the time =D)and jumps very well. I ride hunter/jumpers and I know he would do very well in that, however, I heard that paints are often discriminated against in the show ring. Is this true and if so, why?
