I didn't write anything about 'compel'. So I don't know why Its in my post????

ETA: I think it was referring to the title of the previous thread. It was something like "The Madness compels you to watch".

 Well I thought I would try to "eclipse" the images. ;)

Thanks for the link.

I would probably watch "Let Me In", but I wouldn't pay to see it.

A lot of recent films, like The Ring, The Grude, were made in Japan and 'Americanized', they weren't bad, but a lot of people won't see a film if they have to read subtitles.

Daybreakers - better than I expected. Quite enjoyed it. And Ethan Hawke as a vampire is not that bad to look at either. :D

Awesome. :D

Has any of you seen any Vincent Price movies? I love "The Pit and the Pendulum" and "House of Wax". :)

Hey all horror fans! Interested in the 'Survival of the Dead'? I saw this exclusive behind the scenes with horror maestro George A. Romero. Following the events of Diary of the Dead, in Survival of the Dead, a desperate struggle for survival will determine whether the living and the dead can coexist.

I want to believe that it's because it is another remake. I know a lot of people were surprised (and unhappy) about all the gore in the new one, too - but these days it's expected.

[sp]It could also be that they let the daughter live this time - which I admit I'm not thrilled about myself, but oh well. Also, I'd hope that I'm not the only one kind of irked that they let one of the attempted murderers live, even if he wsa the youngest. But I figure they did that because the daughter lived.[/sp]

Also, I think the ending of the new one might have something to do with it - the violence and extreme gore factor there. I wasn't expecting it, but given the character I can't say it wasn't somewhat deserved. And any excuse for badass!Tony Goldwyn, I'll take

Is that the Kiefer Sutherland one? I didn't really like it. I just couldn't get into it

I loved Last House on the Left. The original was good but the remake was awesome as well. I dont know why people disliked it so much. It was a pleasant surprise.

Oh yeah, i think I heard about this mini series. Don't think I've seen it. Might check it out. :)

They Americanized it...I'm effin' pissed! Let Me In.

And your icon is simultaneously cracking me up and creeping me out

I watched a trailer today for the movie The Human Centipede it looks like it will be good.
