Del Toro is one of my favourite director's! It all started with Pan's Labyrinth and since seeing other films of his, I think he is fantastic! :)

I watched Dead Air the other day and I kind of liked it. It had your typical non-zombie-zombie movie elements without feeling overly done. I have to admit I was impressed that Corbin Bernsen directed it and I think that's the first movie role that I've seen Bill Moseley look the most like himself in (save for Repo! the Genetic Opera). All in all, it wasn't bad.

Have you guys seen American Gothic?

I was a kid when I first watched it and I could not sleep for weeks after that.

And though it doesn't scare me anymore it's beyond creepy.

If it's not something you're used to, you're more concentrated on reading the dialogue between the actors and can't always see the imagery of the film at the same time.

I'm used to it now, and don't mind it at all, but when first watching foreign films with subtitles, it did take some getting used to.

I havent seen El espinazo del diablo but I will now. I have a thing for Spanish horror flims. Rec tops my list along with El Orfanato.

I was pleasantly surprised by April Fools. I thought it would be awful but it turned out to be one of my favourite guilty pleasures!

I loved the irony too of the first movie starring Lucy Lawless as the mother and then in the second Renee O'Conner was a therapist at the hospital.

If anyone is not familiar, Lucy and Renee starred in Xena: Warrior Princess together as Xena and Gabrielle.

I have seen it. It's definitely not my favorite horror film, but it's okay. My friend LOVES it though. I'm more of a The Lost Boys fan

^^ I quite liked Mirrors actually. It was different, and I don't think it was scary, but psychologically, it made you think!

There's another movie called "The Triangle" that was good too, I believe it was a TV mini-series starring Catherine Bell, Eric Stoltz, Bruce Davidson, and Sam Niell, among others.

Check out the movie information here.

Ok yeah, so I decided to watch Return to Sleepaway Camp again last weekend. And I might be in the minority, but I like it. Although I would have like to see more of certain people in it.

But the ending!!!! [sp] When Angela reveals herself at the end and her face manically laughing and then doing a evil stare at the screen freaked me out!! [/sp]
