^It's the one with Cameron Diaz, right? I wanted to watch that but then I saw some reviews and they were all pretty bad. Then I changed my mind about watching.

I haven't seen the original for TLHOTL, but the remake was better than I expected it to be.

such a good question!

I keep asking myself the same. Where are all the decent horror films?

^^^ Really? I thought 'Orphan' was pretty good.

What's the last one you saw that 'impressed' you?

I LOVE both versions of Last House on the Left. To me, both are disturbing - and they both leave you feeling pretty uncomfortable but with the different films come different reasons. The original was more about humiliation. The remake focuses more on the violence and gore.

I haven't seen the original in years though so it's not fair to say which I prefer, but for a remake TLHotL wasn't bad. I just wish they had included a 'remade' version of my favorite scene from the original :pout:

^^ Is that really a horror film though or more suspense/thriller?

I'm interested in Splice, if anyone sees it, please post a review in spoiler tags! ;)

The Mangler? Is this the original or is there a remake I'm not aware of? Because it's really not good at all. As a kid it scared the crap out of me and then I rewatched it a couple of years back and had to smack myself

I might check out the new Nightmare soon, but I admit I was put off by the negative reviews. With Friday the 13th not living up to the hype, I'm weary of the remake. I know some people knew this was going to happen, but I thought they were all going to be taking their franchises to a whole new level, instead, it looks like they were a step backwards. Oh well.

On the other hand, I can't wait to check out Daybreakers and The Crazies.

You're very welcome. Love the icon!

:wiggle: hey everyone!

Could I be added to the list, please? :flowers: I love horror movies :evil_lol:

I just saw "the box". Not really sure if this classifies as a horror film or not, but it wasn't that good of a movie to me. I didn't understand the ending at all?

I finally watched Mirrors.

I kind of liked it. It was pretty entertaining.

Maybe because I love Kiefer Sutherland I am a bit prejudiced though.

I didn't see the orignal to that film, but yes remake was well done. I saw ''The Mangler'' Friday Night. It's gotten some bad reviews while some have called it the best film of all time. Probably won't see it again, but if you're a fan of Robert Englund, it's worth checking out.

I enjoyed The Haunting actually.

There are a lot of movies that I like that not everyone favoured, so here are a few more:

1408
Cry_Wolf
Mr. Brooks
White Noise
