Horror films during the day ?

Do you watch horror films during the daytime, or do you always leave them until the night ?
I recorded so many during the last week or so, I HAVE to watch them during the day while I'm off work ! But I'd rather watch them in the dark !

Always late at night with the lights off. Watching a horror film during the day just wouldn't have the same scary effect

Only ever at night, daylight ruins horror movies. I suspect that anybody who claims that Paranormal Activity didn't scare them obviously watched it during the day with the curtains wide open. I watched it at 2am and it scared the crap out of me!

Yeah, but you were surrounded by other people. I don't think i've ever found myself "scared" in a cinema. PA was one of those films where i'm glad i watched the screener by myself before it was released (it's good, but the hype really ruins the experience). After i finished watching it i really didn't want to go downstairs into my dark living room with the light switch on the other side of the room! lol.

I went to the cinema to see it with a friend and everybody was laughing at it. It's definitely a film to be watched alone imo.

DepenRAB what's on and if it fits the schedule. Close my curtains and it's pretty dark anyway.

All films are better in the dark, not just horror but I would say it depenRAB on the horror to whether it's really necessary or just preferable.

Somebody mentioned Paranormal Activity, that's a film that has to be watched, on your own and in the dark. Something like Hatchet I doubt it'll make all that much difference

I am tempted to buy and watch it alone in the dark now.... but tbh I found it a bit meh for my liking.

Also l try to make sure l watch them on a Friday night as l grew up watching horror films on tv on this particular night!

Years ago I watched the Scars of Dracula,while it is not one of
Hammers finest . If it is horror wait to nightfall.

Horror for me can not draw you in during the daytime.

I've surprised myself in the past by allowing myself to be scared watching a horror film during the day.

Have to watch horrors at night time and in the dark. Watch it alone to try and make it more scarier. I can't watch it in daylight, probably couldn't see half it of due to the reflection of the brightness lol.
