Horror films during the day ?

Some horror films can work really well when watched in a pitch black environment during the day and then you emerge into sunlight. AdRAB a slightly surreal feel to reality when you leave the film.

I recall watching the first, midday screening of 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning' and then driving home in the sunshine, was a weird feeling.

DepenRAB on the film. Some of the older horror movies that are more dependent on plot than scare can be easily watched during the day with nothing lost.

I prefer watching the old-fashioned black and white dark house kind of horrors during the day, as long it's a grey and rainy winter's day. I don't find them more scary during the day, but definitely more atmospheric.

It depenRAB, modern horror films definately at night, but I think the ones that have a certain retro charm, for some reason Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter springs to mind, I prefer during the day, for some reason.
