There are speculations that USA will get the carb version of the new Ninja 250R, while the European and Japanese versions will the Fuel Injection (FI) engine. We will keep updating you on this as we get the official news.
In the meantime, here are two pictures, taken on 27th August. Notice the ZZR-1400 (ZX-14) colour option behind the silver ZZR?

It would definitely be the Ninja.

The 250cc engine will be better for getting into faster traffic and maintaining that speed in the traffic.

The Ninja has a parallel twin cylinder engine that will last much longer then the Honda single cylinder engine.

The twin engine will also ride smoother then the single or what is known in old school as a thumper engine.

The Ninja has a Maximum Torque of 18.1 lb-ft @ 10,000 rpm while the Honda has 7.4 ft.lbs @ 8000 RPM.

So the Ninja is about 2 1/2 times more powerful; although still nothing to be excited about, or afraid of not being able to handle.
