OMG!! i cant stand this show, it annoys the hell out of me, i find the actors on this show so fake, its on bbc1 every morning. This morning i could not watch the whole thing, i tryd to take intrest but i couldnt it was so god damn annoying.

If people do not like a programme why on earth watch it..that is like enjoying Chinese Torture.

Any programme that fails to pull viewers will be dropped, so if you hate it and enough switch over, they will drop it.

Hi all, newbie here, feeling "flushed with success" at joining rabroad forums (feeling love for Matin Roberts' puns already eh?)

Good to see lots of support for Martin and Lucy here: I've got to say I only discovered the programme by accident about a year ago but have been addicted ever since!

Martin's dashing good looks, clear and friendly presenting style and yes, his puns, always leave me wanting more. And when he hurt his arm with the angle grinder...well I'd have rushed to his beRABide, let there be no doubt about that!

I honestly can't speak highly enough of HUTH. It's not something you have to particularly concentrate on, but as has already been said, it's fascinating watching how other people turn around real dumps and make them into little palaces. But yes, I also agree that the plots of land and new builRAB are a bit pointless, although Martin even makes those seem riveting! (Did anyone see the one with a public toilet up for sale?!)

So a big thumbs up from me for the show and most ceretainly for Martin - I thought I might be the only one who felt he was absolutely first class totty - it's nice to know I'm not alone! And just for the record, I know I seem strangely biased (but he really is gorgeous); my boyfriend has expressed an interest in checking out Lucy Alexander so at least I can have a dribble over Martin without feeling too guilty when watching the show!!

Keep up the good work guys, I'll watch as many of the shows as you can make!!!

I quite like homes under the hammer on the few occassions I have caught it. However I only lke it when we can actually see a difference in the houses when they go back. I find the large re-development ones and the buying of a field totally pointless as there isnothing to show for it in a few months time when they go back. Either don't bother with those, or go back much later so that we can at least see some difference.

Just for the record I was not slagging off HUTH, not at all. I cannot stand programmes like "crap in the attic" and "crap booty" and "flog your old crap on ebay" or "two teams try and flog crap out of suitcases to unsuspecting members of the public in the street" or "buy crap, flog crap" or "how much is my crap worth?" or even "buy crap in another country and then come home and sell the crap here and lose half the money you spent on the crap in the first place!"

Too much crap on telly I think is what I am saying! Speaking of which what happened to "to buy or not to buy" possibly the best piece of crap ever! Surprisingly not quite as crap as the title makes you believe and the prefect show to watch before you brain cells have woken up enough to take in 'serious' programming! I don't get up early by the way! Not saying it takes me till mid morning for my brain cells to wake up and I get up at like 6am or anything lol Oh and The short bald bloke and the annoying tall bloke are the only presenters for that show.

Enough said for now!

If you think that's bad, you should try and watch Italian tv in the morning.........At least there is something to watch on HUTH, if, like the majority of Italians, you live in a cramped flat the size of one floor of most of the houses showed there, with no garden to speak of, and 49 other flats like yours around you.......

This excellent program is available on BBCi for 7days after broadcast as are many BBC owned programs.

Check out the website and you will see that the presenters are successful property developers in their own right.

The text speak knockers are probetly missing that juven ile jumping up and down whooping and hollering

I feel the same way as you do about Martin, I may have said this in other posts and my other half likes Lucy too.
I love his puns and jokes.

Homes under the Hammer is FAB.

I love seeing little knock-down terraces being restored into modern homes the most. There was one a few weeks ago in London and the developer (an American i think) extended the kitchen and put a huge glass skylight in it - it looked amazing.
My fave one ever was the warehouses in a 'developing' area of London where the young multi-millionaire said 'yeh come back in a few months and this will be 50 stylish loft apartments'...and it was! Amazing regeneration at work!
Also the run-down house in Warrington (near me) with the tree growing into the bathroom was ace.

The best thing about the programme is the themed background music which accompanies each piece - whenever they meet anyone called Trevor or related to someone called Trevor, they play that annoying song 'Clever Trevor' which I only ever hear on this programme.
Martin is like a cuddly bear and Lucy is quite teacher-y i think.
Best thing on daytime TV!

I Like Homes under the Hammer too. If its a choice between Martin Roberts and Jeremy Kyle in the mornings Martin wins hanRAB down and he doesnt shout.
