Holiday Movie Fans Thread - Just about that time of year again

Brasha- omg I just noticed that I typed the title of the movie wrong, opps. :P

blues- Thats great! I wouldnt mind owning those shirts especially the Elf shirt.

Omg I love Steve Martin and Johny Candy! They are both so funny. I loved John Candy in The great outdoors . The plot sounds pretty good too, I just may have to rent it sometime :D

Jack Frost was a pretty good movie, made me cry at the ending. Most holiday movies make me tear up.

No it wasnt Jack and Sarah but that is a really cute movie. Im not too sure what it was called. I know there was a older man at the ending that turned out to be an angel and he got those two together for the little girl. Gosh, I wish I knew what it was called.

 I'm sure he'll have an, um, busy night. ;)

I loved her in Almost Famous and The New Guy.

 Yeah he was the main elf that helped Santa. He is such a cutie. I wish I was an elf in that movie. I would be his girlfriend plus Im a shortie so I will be perfect size to be close to an elf

:lmao: Omg, yeah!

I cant believe she bagged up her cat and gave it away for a christmas present  How crazy is that?

And  to all the christmas lights Clark put up on the house.

Another great quote I loved was when Clark was saying greetings all his coworks and his boss at work when they passed him by

Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, kiss my ass. Kiss his ass. Kiss your ass. Happy Hanukkah.

Now I want to watch this movie

I laugh at the title. The way you typed it is how we all say it but the title is HOw the Grinch Stole Christmas....they should think about changing it to what we all think it is ;)

My fave Xmas movies are: The Santa Clause, Grinch(animated), Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, Mickey Mouse's Christmas Carol, and NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION .

 And her husband who gave Clark hell all the time and made the sewer pipes explode.

She bagged up her cat and gave it to them for a present and also made jello mold with cat food.

One part I love is when Julia-Louie Dreyfuss from Seinfield went over there to cuss out Clark and he opened the door and the squirrell jumps on her and the dog the jumps on it.. and then she gets back and her husband says "What happened to you??" and she knocks him the hell out.

I feel the need to watch "While you were sleeping", not a holyday movie per se but you know.

And also "Pieces of April" for the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner.

I should totally watch planes trains and automobiles today, but I gotta finsh watching the macy's parade......

Oh man you've gotta see it. It's hilarious.

All Neal Page (Steve Martin) wants to do is make it home from a business trip in New York City and spend Thanksgiving with his family in Chicago. Instead, he finds himself rerouted from New York’s La Guardia Airport to Wichita, Kansas. With no other options, Neal decides to share a room in a fleabag hotel with Del Griffith (John Candy), a shower-curtain-ring salesman and fellow stranded traveler. Although Neal finds Del to be a buffoon, he just can’t seem to get away from him. To make matters worse, all their efforts to get back to Chicago fail as trains break down and rental cars catch on fire. Along the way they encounter crazy cabbies, redneck truck drivers, and oversexed bus passengers.

Some people HATE IT, but I am not one of those people :)
