I've said this before... this was basically just a couple of local/state government faggots that wanted to make regional news and get votes because "they are tough on immigration" and it just snowballed out of control
the whole thing is retarded, because while the immigration laws targeting the actual illegals do need to be enforced
people forget that there are also laws in the books for the businesses that employ illegals however you hardly ever see the business fined the maximum amount [if they even get fined at all] because that would directly affect the owners of said businesses that contribute to the campaign funds on both sides of the debate
all it would really take to stop illegal immigration is to fine and make an example out of businesses that employ illegals so other companies would refuse to hire people that can't show proper documentation and not the BS borderline credible fake documents that a lot of companies claim they believed in good faith were legit documents
no available jobs = no illegals = mass exodus back south of the border
