Hispanic/Latino is it a race or a culture?

There are 3 main races: (White, Black, and Asian). The mixture of European whites and the native population in the new world resulted in what we now call Hispanics or Latinos. Also included is the mixture of blacks (from slaves brought from Africa) and the native population in the americas. The native people in the Americas are believed to be descendants from migrant Asians. So, is being hispanic a culture or a new race resulting from the mixture from other races?

hispanic is a culture/ethnicity/linguistic label, it's not a race.

people get confused and think mexican = hispanic race, and that the native american/spanish combination is its own race when really it's not. it's just one look that spanish speakers tend to have, because the spanish and the native americans mixed a lot, because the spanish colonists didn't bring women from spain when they settled.

It's a culture made of different races and mixes, but if you're refering to people who resemble you, you can say race...or even just for the hell of it.

it is a culture americans think all hispanics look the same because they have never been out of their country and they think mexicans are the only hispanics which is stupid and retarded
