I can't wait for this movie either, I'm not ashamed to say I'm a big fan :D Drew Seeley's voice was blended with Zac Efron's in the last movie but, in the new one it's just Zac's voice. The only reason given for Zac not doing the concerts was because he was filming Hairspray.

Apparently the new one is set at a summer club,

I haven't got the DVD yet (still got to arrive) but I've "got" a copy of the extended edition, and the Humuhumu... thing is in it. Also, according to "the rules" these scenes cannot be edited in by the group, so I'm pretty sure it's in the movie on the DVD... ;) :D

It was going to be a third haunted one, but they've changed it to be about prom and stuff since.

I agree they are rushing it to make the ages fit - which is why the original cast probably won't be in any further movies.

Which will make them not as good.

I think she'll still be chasing after troy though. I think she will be a little bit nicer because of the 'villians' lol.

& i bet vanessa will get to get her own slow sad song again...hmm..or maybe they'll do something different and give sharpay a sad song. Ooooo

& i imagine the last song will be soo cheesy but with really cool dancing and a great sequence or something.

I love predicting whats going to happen in hsm3!! hehe..

Haven't seen that yet - last HSM2 music video I saw on Disney Channel was Sharpay's You Are The Music In Me. The music video for the movie Twitches Too is constantly on though!

I thought so too :) Hopefully she'll play a bigger part in the next movie instead of it being another Sharpay-tries-to-steal-Troy-from-Gabi story, that wouldn't really work after HSM2.

I've heard them now - Lucas and Ashley's are good, Monique's got a good voice and the tune is catchy but overall it's a little overproduced. Corbin's is good too. Drew's track is okay, but nothing great.

Just checked and tickets are not on sale yet for the January tour at the NEC Birmingham.
This one might end up another stocking filler for Christmas:D

Yeah only for this its funny I don't have for anything else :D My sister had a pirate DVD last week and said I could borrow it but I didn't. Actually thinking about it I dunno why I came into this thread knowing there could be spoilers! But I haven't seen any which is good :D
I just want to sit down on Friday and genuinely enjoy it without knowing whats going to happen next :)

Sooo excited now! I haven't seen any adverts for it yet other than on E4.

New script writers might not necessarily be good, though.

I also thought there was too much Sharpay - Ashley Tisdale acts her well but the character is really annoying.

And What Time Is It was speeded up, I'm pretty sure. I thought a couple of songs were different, actually.

I hope they have the deleted scenes and more bloopers on the DVD - hopefully they will because the budget was bigger.

Especially that bit at the end where he skips by the lake :D Horrendous.

(Maybe not quite as camp as Humuhumu - but it's a close call!)

I upgraded my Sky package to include kiRAB mix about half an hour ago and it's already kicked in! I have to wait until 9 to watch it though :( Just seen the start and it looks wicked.

I can't speak for everyone, but - I didn't like it because:

1. Zefron looked like he was doing tai chi at the beginning.
2. Some very strange crouching movements like he was moving through a room full of lasers.
3. The section where he does a bit of skipping by the lake.

Overall, it's just a terribly bizarre dance routine. I don't mind the song, but the routine is awful.

I'm not sure if it was speeded up. I noticed on HSM1 that We're All In This Together sounded slightly higher pitched and less synthesised than the soundtrack, with What Time Is It and another song (I think it was Work) being that way on HSM2.

So far I thought of two things that could be doing it. Firstly, it's possible that with the film being recorded and produced in Dolby Digital, it sounRAB slightly different than the Stereo soundtrack, and as Disney are using the Dolby track mixed down to Stereo, it sounRAB different to the soundtrack. Another possibility is that the movie is in 24fps (like most other films) and sped up to 25fps (as used by the PAL TV Standard), resulting in the slightly higher pitch. However, I can't be sure of this, as it's possible Disney streched it to 25fps rather than speed it up, or even recorded it in 25fps. The only way too tell really would be to watch it as it was broadcast on Disney Channel USA, as that would be streched to 30fps, and see if it sounRAB any different.
