high pitched buzzing noise coming from car speakers?

i have a couple 6x9 speakers in the back of my car and tey are hooked to an amp. however when im not listening to music or it is turned down low i can hear a sort of buzzing sound. it gets progressively louder and more high pitched the more i accelerate and goes back to a sort of hum, its hard to explain. however the noise is not emitted from my front 4" speakers, even though they are connected to the same amp and channels.
im wandering if there is something wrong with my speakers or some faulty wiring or even some other reason.
 
This is caused by a bad ground. Use a large ground wire from your amp to the frame and make sure it connects to bare shiny metal. If for some reason that don't completley fix it, you're RCA cables dont have a good ground from the stereo. Wal mart sells an isolator for $13 that will fix it.
