Lately, I've been eating strawberries (about 6 or 7) medium sized ones in the morning, an apple for lunch, and then a large McDonald's sweet tea at around 4. I work out for 45 minutes to an hour at about 8 in the morning.

I weigh 142 lbs, and I'm about 5'2 or 5'3. I want to be 110 to 115 lbs by the middle of August. Do you think this routine will get me there?

It's unhealthy, I know, but this is my choice. Advice? Hints or tricks?

Probably.
If not, pretty close.
But you'll gain it back, because when you start eating again your body will be in starvation mode and suck up more calories than it should as fat.

If you want your workouts to have ANY benefit, you need to have better nutrition.

It's simple math - if you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. BUT - you still have to take in enough healthy calories to allow yourself to workout.

If your goal is 110 or 115 then you should be eating about 1200 calories per day - spread out over 5-6 small, healthy meals. On days where you work out a lot, you will need more healthy calories as well.

Skip the sweet tea (it's all sugar) and add some protein. Protein is what your body uses to build muscle - and muscle actually helps burn fat! So have some lean turkey or chicken, or almonds, or fish. Eat some vegetables as well - sweet potatoes, spinach - aw heck any veggie is fine.

Drink lots of water and skip the soda and go easy on fruit juices (they have lots of natural sugars).

I know it's hard to believe sometimes, but starving yourself or eating like a bird WILL NOT help you lose weight. Your body will turn existing muscle to fat! Trust me.

Keep up with the exercise and start eating healthy and very soon you'll see the results.

Good luck.

yes, it probably will, pretty sure it will. But, Gosh, u must be starving all the time lol. I try dieting and it sucks because I am always hungry but it is a sacrafice u have to make :) Actually, your body needs some type of meat for protein, tuna is a good source of protein and if u eat it by itself it's only like 60 calories per can which is awesome. Also, turkey and chicken are low in fat too. Hope I helped :)
