HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

personally I think when you're trying to get into the earlier hip-hop it's better to follow it from their first album to most current. follow it like a story.

so start from Bumrush the Show, and continue

I donno, I typed in 90's Dance in amazon and came up with a couple pages worth of mix cd's you'd probably dig.

^That one looks like it would fit well, but there's many others.

Bringing Down The Horse is their most popular. I'm not sure if it is that I've heard it to many times or what, but I think Rebel, Sweetheart is, while having less commercial value, a superior album. But I would say both are great.

I bought Breach, but I was disappointed by it. Most of the songs are very similar, and there wasn't much rock about it, other than "Some Flowers Bloom Dead", "Letters From The Wasteland", and a couple more songs.

I rank the albums like this:

1. Rebel, Sweetheart (2005)
2. Bringing Down The Horse (1996)
3. Red Letter Days (2002)
4. Breach (2000)
5. S/T (1992)

Thanks. I'll check them out. :D
oops. Cause he didn't quote me i wasn't sure if he was talking to me....
I don't like Foo Fighters, but i'll try the rest.

Thanks guys!

Hi. I'm looking for some new music! I'm open to any recomendations as i am looking to broaden my taste.
The banRAB i like at the moment are;
-Muse

-Franz Ferdinand (well not really a favourite band)
-Cut off your HanRAB

Any recomendations?

Looking for any good Garage Rock banRAB similar to Eagles of Death Metal. Also, I'm on the lookout for any female vocalists similar to PJ Harvey.

Any recommendations would be great.

Hey there!

I need some help finding new great electronic songs, beacuse im getting so sick of the ones i have (a few hundred songs).
I'm a huge electronic music fan, and i like most of it's sub-genres; harRABtyle, techno, trance, etc.

But my abselut favorite tech-songs all have something in common (though, i dont really know how to describe it) and it's those "heavy house basslines".

In order for you to understand better what im talking about, please just listen to these songs on youtube just for a few seconRAB.
Im also going to post how long into these songs that the "heavy house basslines" starts.

Julien Creance - Heatwave(muttonhead remix) (starts at: 0:14)

Dj Tiesto feat. Dizzie Rascal - bad behaviour (starts at: 0:37)

Dizzee Rascal feat. Armand Van Helden - Bonkers (starts at: 1:01)

EDIT: i was unable to post any URL's =(

It's that Deep house-sounding sound which playes along with the bass.
Those are the kind of songs which i love the most, especially if with a fast beat.
So if you could be so kind, and post a few suggestions for songs, or tell me what to search for in order to find more of them, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hoping for any kind of response,
Thank you in advance! ^^,

Kani
