HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Ohio Players - Honey

Funkadelic - One Nation Under a Groove
Matata - Feelin' Funky

^ All favourites of mine there.

Arcturus might interest you. Not exactly similar to Fantomas or Meshuggah, but anyways definitely worth listening to!
'La masquerade infernale' is a bit weirder, but 'The Sham Mirrors' might be better to start with. And there's absolutely no black metal elements in both. I recently upped an album in this thread if you are interested.

'Omnio' by In the WooRAB... is also quite interesting. Let me know if you can't find it.

Maudlin of the well/Kayo Dot are also good choices.

Hi guys Im new to the forums:wave:!

I need people who listen to music a lot because i need some songs that can work out for this video im making but i don't know any songs that would be good for it.
I was hoping if people could give me a list of songs that are good for fighting/ battle videos.

I would like a song without lyrics but I know that not many battle themed songs don't have lyrics so I won;t be picky about that.

Please post the artist and song name thanks for the help. Multiple answer would be a great help!

SounRAB like you need some melancholy rock n' roll complete with an angsty singer. If listening to David Bowie, The Smiths and Belle and Sebastien did me the world of good i'm sure it will with you. Maybe.

Hahahaha...

I love remixes, mashups, and just about ANY type of song as long as it sounRAB good...

Personally, I don't honestly care about electronica or others but I'm posting in electronica because it usually has a MUCH better beat...

I'm going to try my best and explain what type of songs I like, but bare with me... Basically, I like songs with a decent amount of melodies going at once (I do not like the ones with just vocal and a guitar or just a drum etc.) and I really like them to actually correlate with each other... In other worRAB, I want the song to sound like someone made sure that every melody seems to work with every other one as opposed to just a bunch of melodies shoved into a song...

To name a few songs I personally enjoy...

Jupiter Rising - Electropop (Lenny B Radio Mix) -- I only like the radio remix.
Daddy Dj - Daddy Dj
E-Type - Africa
Septeraber - Cry For you
Boys Noise - My Moon My Man

Hopefully there are other people who also have whatever taste for music as I have... (Btw, I'm fairly certain playing in orchestra for a couple years changed my tastes in music... I'm fairly certain it's why I require the melodies to flow well...)

Song titles / artists are more than enough for me (I honestly won't use any download links).

If more detail, more songs I like, more anything is required please post...

(By the way, I don't want just a spout of 80-90 different artists that are kind of decent but not really... People tend to think Quantity is better than quality, but I'm hoping for just a couple songs that are actually ones that flow very well)

-- Also, I tend to enjoy much more fast paced songs than slower ones... But, only if it isn't so fast that the melody doesn't get all messed up and jarabled together --

Stop coming in here posting unsolicited recommendations, morons!
