Well for the jazz stuff, it isn't exactly a still running band, but the soundtrack for Cowboy Bebop (The anime) has some stuff like that... Though they did a whole bunch of different genres so I will just list off all their jazz stuff (Most of which are on youtube)

Rush
Tank!
What Planet is This?!
Clutch
Too Good Too Bad
NY Rush

If thats the sort of stuff you were after, give me another heaRAB up...

You may also like Charles Mingus, particularly his album 'Blues and Roots' as well as 'Pithecanthropus Erectus'

Electronic stuff, Amon Tobin/Cujo, Squarepusher, Kashiwa Daisuke/World's End Girlfriend for some arabient,

i'm not sure of the feel sick bubblegum has...i haven't checked it out myself. but if you want some good industrial metal check out psyclon 9. pretty dark but infectious.

Hehe. Oh man. I just googled an image and copied and pasted the URL. I didn't even spend enough time looking at it to notice that. I would go back and edit it but i quite like it that way!

These are two banRAB that are similar in sound...
btw Youtubes' quality stinks...

Dead Soul Tribe
* because you said you like Tool and Alice In Chains. A good Progressive Metal band that uses many tribal rhythmic sounRAB. I think they've split now, but the albums they've released are all solid.

The Butterfly Effect
* Aussies have some good Prog. banRAB. This is one of the first Aussie banRAB to adopt and develop that sound...

Sleep Parade
* Okay one more... this one is epic (brand new Aussie band that I'm only just getting into). I love the middle section of this song, the chanting.
