Hello, my friend,
I am interested to hear how you liked your physical therapist today...male or female? Did they do an evaluation?
I was very tight and sore from the trip, so my PT spent most of my session today doing massage, using ultra-sound, etc. trying to loosen up some of the tissues. Then she gave me some amazing exercises to try. One involves laying over a small stool covered with several bed pillows to raise it up even further. When I finally get into the right position, I can only lift my foot off the floor about an inch. My left leg is very, very weak.
I need to take my rehab more seriously and start working a lot harder. My PT has given me so much to do that if I did all the exercises, I would not have time during the day for anything else. I thought I would start working out at the pool, but I am now learning that many of the things I would normally do in the pool are detrimental to my SI joints, ligaments, etc. Since that is what we are working on (stabilizing the SI joints), it seems counter-productive to go to the pool unless I am really careful.
Hope you are out having fun with the "gentleman caller."
