help with small engine, four wheeler engine ( kawasaki bayou 220 )?

alright heres the deal! theres some thing wrong with the electric start, when i put the key in it and turn the key ( with out pushing the start button it wants to turns over).... problem #2 is when i actually get it started it seems like its boggin down like its not getting any fuel to the carberator, it starts sputtering and back firing. i really need help im not to good with small engines. any advice will help
 
these ATVs were know t o have a weak source coil on the stator as it starts to go bad it will cause a misfire.. the starter if it is turning to slow . sounds like it needs rebuilding ..also a common problem on these small case starters are shorted armatures and brushes wear out due to the wrong brush pressure.. let me know more details by e-mail and i will see if i can help .
