Help with phytoplankton culture?

I'm trying to start a phytoplankton culture I have done all of the sanitation procedures, salt mix, phyto grow, lighting 16 hours on and 8 off etc also had 2 sources of live phytoplankton and after two days the water goes clear is this normal and should I wait some more or did it crash I shake the bottles every day too?????I have air line tubes running in them
