i am looking to get some new kicker subs, i already have an american legacy 1600 watt amp running 2 10s pyrimid subs. so should i get 2 12 cvr kicker 2 ohms or a 1 15 l5 ? the l5 comes with a 300.1 kicker amp, or i could use mine
If I was you I would run the legacy to the 2 12" kicker cvr subwoofers in a ported box. The 2 12" Kicker cvrs in a spl/db contest with 1 15" kicker is proven that the 2 12" CVR's are louder and move more air -SPL- Sound Pressure Level then the 1 15 and if you are planning on running a 300 watt amp to the l5 I would definetely be looking for more power those things take 1k-2k rms beatings no problem look for vids on youtube to see what I mean.
