I'm completely stuck and I need a little help/motivation as to how to do my art mock exam piece on "Urban Decay"
In my piece I would like to represent the theme of urban decay as the 'fall and corruption of the rich and wealthy.' I was thinking maybe like a disaster type scenario (huge flood) happening through the city, with the poor people getting swept under, while the rich are still safe in their highrise skyscrapers.
& I also had the idea of 'the higher the skyscraper, the closer you are to god.'
What do you suggest? Do you like the ideas? What medium do you visualize for this piece?
The mock exam is for 8 hours, the piece is A2 size...I'm particularly worried about how good my art skills actually are, I've never really produced a proper 2D piece in a fixed time frame before...so maybe paints are easier than watercolours?
Thanks in advance
