ok i have been researching this for a while before i spend my money and i have a few questions

these are the brands i was thinking for each component.. tell me which are the best or any recommendations you have

for a head unit: Pioneer, Alpine, or maybe kenwood

for speakers: Pioneer i heard is good, but what else is?

for amps: i have no clue.. but i dont need a crazy one cause im not bangin the base to a crazy level.. so keep that in mind with recommendations

for subs: thinkin either memphis or kicker

anything else or any suggestions?

oh yea one more thing.. if i buy all these different brands.. they can all go together right? silly question maybe..

thanks!

deck-alpine or kenwood
speakers-stay away from pioneer they are cheaply made and are just plain crap.jl audio, polk audio,mb quart
amps-jl audio,mmats
subs-kicker,jl audio
stinger amp kit
alot of dynamat for soun deadening.these brands will work together

head- alipine or pioneer
speakers- i say bose or something- i had pioneer and they are junk
amp try jl audio, MTX, Alpine
subs- same as amps
usually an audio store can help you with which will work for your taste

Everything in my car is Sony Xplode. The in-car speakers, subs, amp, and head unit are all the same brand. If you go with a Pioneer HU then my suggestion would be that you keep everything the same name brand. It makes installation a hell of a lot easier because the components are made to work with each other and in the long run they will end up sounding a lot better.
