Help, what film could this be.

Hi

I have been trying to remember what a film is called and more about the film for a few months now. This is all I have.

I think it was slightly futuristic and sci-fi. The only scene I remember is a group of guys (FBI or Swat team, I think. But anyway a group of professionals) are trying to catch a woman coming out of a large office block foyer or shopping mall (yeh, I think its American). She is good at karate and disposes of quite a few, but when there gets too many she removes her long black leather coat and has two expendable battens slung across her back, which she pulls out and wastes the rest of the guys. I am pretty sure she was tall and athletic and dark skinned.

I remember her being shot at and dodging round architecturally designed columns within the large open space. I think there were all open plan stairs escalators and open plan floors, very large modern building.

That's it, that's all I remember, other than it was a really cool fight scene and it was possibly a B-Movie, rather than a top Hollywood film.

I think the film had a Matrix/Blade feel about it.

Thanks, I have both of those films, so its possible.

I will go check on fast forward, but I don't think its either of these, but certainly the right type of film.

I'll let you know if its right.

Don't think its Aeon, just watched it in fast forward, it was at X20 so there is a slight chance that I missed the scene, but saw nothing like it, so pretty sure its not that.

Just gonna check ultraviolet.

I have this weird feeling that it could be Virtuosity, but its sooooo long since I saw this and I don't own it to check, can anybody rule this out for me.

Also, I used to own Serenity, could it be that, I don't think so. Maybe someone can rule that out for me.
 
No, that's what's bugging me, I can't remember anything about the film up to or after this point.

This could be misleading, but I feel that the women who produced the telescopic battens was not one of the central character good guys, but was possibly a good guy.

I remember she moved with a cool calculated calm, kind of like Bekinsale did in Underworld.

The woman was not a teenager, she was more in her thirty's I think.
 
Nope, I love Equilibrium and its not that.

Sorry, I know it sounRAB like a wind up but its not.

I don't think the woman was one of the main characters, could be wrong about this. The reason for thinking this is, when she pulled her coat off, you could see the holsters on her back for the battens, the straps wee in a cross formation across her chest, she reached behind her and pulled out the battens, and it was like, "that's cool, I didn't see that coming".
