...Subwoofer.? I just brought these 2 item and i also got a wiring kit, i ran all the wires correctly into the amp but when i plug my sub in nothing happens, not even the little turn on light appears, i put the sub cable in - in channel 1 and + in channel 2 then ran it to the sub accordingly but to no avail. Just want to know if anyone has some handy suggestions to get it all up and running?

If you're sure you actually have power going to the amp and it is not blown, I'll ask this. Do you have a remote wire ran from your stereo deck to your amp? This is like an on/off switch so the amp will know the turn on/off when your deck is turned on/off. It's usually a blue wire coming from you deck. And there should be a "remote" screw on your amp to run it to. There should be a wire with your amp kit to run from your deck to your amp. If not you can buy some (about 20 feet is all you should need) from any electrical store to do this. That's more than likely the problem.

Is it connected to the battery?
Is there a fuze in the amp and in the engine bay on the little wire coming off of the battery terminal?
is it all grounded correctly?
