hi i am looking to get a sav nav, i have problems remembering the speed limit in each area as i have not driven for quite a while, anyone recommend one that gives you a speed limit for each road that you come on to?

Tom Tom is the only one to go for.

easy to use and clear concise instructions.

only draw back the voices are annoying but you can turn them off.

i have a garmin 760 now after having had a tom tom for a while both very easy to use and pretty much the same, the things that you most need on a sat nav is full post code search and the speed camera alerts, which are easy to update from a site called pocket gps world it costs about £20 a year to subscribe and you can update as many times as you like it covers all cameras including mobile ones you probably may not need european maps if you don't drive in europe so don't get sold something you don't need it will cost you more, just choose one that you like the look of and fits your budget just make sure you have the full postcode and cameras installed
