As some of you who read my previous posts might know, I've been having trouble with some fraudulent charges which put me into overdraft and I've filed a couple of claims with the bank's fraud division in order to try to recover my money. Or at least have the overdraft fees reversed. I've even filed a police report.
Today I get a call from the creditor that I thought was taken care of since I called the bank after I first heard from him and the bank said they would stop the creditors since they shouldn't have a file on me anyway. He was basically saying that the account was now on hold, but that as soon as it wasn't anymore he'd be bugging me. I'm so frustrated with this whole situation. It's been going on for just shy of 3 months.
I've cried, I've gotten mad, I've yelled, and I've made numerous phone calls that ended in even more frustration and a lack of information. I just want this settled and settled in my favor. I'm not trying to rob the bank; I was robbed. Why can't they be nicer about it? Why can't they just answer my questions? Why do they have to make everything so stressful and difficult?
Legally, it would cost more to get lawyers involoved than I would recover, so that option is pretty much out. I could get the local news involved since they have this segment called "5 FIGHTING FOR YOU" where they fight on behalf of someone who's been wronged.
The more I talk to people about this, the more I find people who have had the same problem with this bank. I've opened another account at a different bank, but still. You'd think that if so many people have had this same problem with this one bank, they would fix whatever's wrong. Apparently they haven't fixed it and aren't going to any time soon. I wish there was a class action suit I could join or something. This is just rediculous.
Thanks for reading my rant if you made it this far. I'm just to upset and frustrated with the whole thing. I want it done with and gone because I don't deserve to have to deal with this. I'll just keep praying that things work out for the best. If you pray, please say a prayer for me so this is resolved before I have to go back to class. That's stressful enough without this adding to it. Thanks WTF!
