My teen daughter has seasonal allergies and spenRAB a couple of months each spring on Zyrtek. It's not working this year. Been to the doc three times in 2 weeks ... yesterday the doc (not her usual one) said to switch from Zyrtek to prescription flonase ...
BUT ... that will take a few days to get up to speed. Meanwhile, poor kid is suffering w/ runny nose and miserable cough that is interfering w/ sleep. As in we were both up most of the night with her cough and she is trying to sleep sitting up.
Cough remedies, steam and vapor rub aren't helping. Is there anything I can give "on top of" the flonase to help her catch up on sleep? Doc's not opened and I'm waiting a call back from a pharmacist friend. Our usual pharmacist at a small shop that is closed for the day now and after a few mishaps, I don't trust the 'big chain' pharmacist near my home.
