have yet another question about my new amp and subs?

ok so now i am alittle stuck in installing my system. i have wired from the battery to the truck my wiring and it is connected to the amp, now i need some help in installing my sub. so am i supposed to just get speaker wires and attach them to the amp and crank the music up or is it more complicated then that.??? can some body tell me what needs to be done, or if u have a complete guide it would be well appreciated?? thanks guys??
 
okay so u have ur power wires, ground wire, rc wire and ur toco wire all hooked up? then what u need is to run speaker wires from the speaker to the inside of the box, then run another set of speaker wires from the amp to the ternimal on the back of the speaker box, when u all done and did that, turn the amp on and crank it up. hope that helps and good luck
 
Setting the amp would help greatly right about now, leave the bass boost off unless you want to replace your subs really soon.
