Harry Potter

No do you suggest i read the 5th book and then go on to the 6th and 7th as i was just going on to the 6th straight away but im really confused?

The best movie yet, even if the rushed ending did slightly mar my enjoyment.

In my Opinion, Sirius' death was a bit pathetic, and the whole Department of Mysteries sequence seemed extremely rushed.

However, apart from this it was a really good movie.
As has been said Imelda Staunton played an Amazing Umbridge.
Although i'm still not fond of Gambon's Dumbledore.

i watched disappointed as so much was added and changed etc. they completely missed out Quidditch and Ron making goalie. Was annoyed at silly things like Lucius getting the prophecy and being the one who dropped it which didnt happen in the book.

must say that although last scene in Ministry was good could still have been better imo, especially as the book has the statue helping out but not in the movie.

i have seen one of them making of programmesand it seemed lots was cut from the original shooting including Sirius actually saying to Bellatrix 'come on cousin, you can do better than that'! strange how they leave these things out but add things that arent in the book as someone else already noted.

I think the poster meant a teenage Lily, like the teenage James, Sirius etc. in Snape's memory, which Harry accesses during the last Occlumency lesson.

I loved this film. A great way to have spent yesterday afternoon.

Really liked Tonks and Luna and will always love how JW plays Mrs Weasley... I had pictured Bellatrix as blonde and willowy so I wasn't sure about Helena BC, but she was brilliantly unhinged and gothic - not sure why I didn't see that coming really :D

As an avid reader of the books, I was slightly disappointed with the movie!! There was a lack of harry/hermione moments in the film. The book indicates a lot of chemistry between them and moments that didn't include Ron, which mysteriously did in the film. I thought they rushed the Mom scene and sadly missed out Hermione

Not really lol They don't stop going on about the death really until the end of the book, Harry being grief stricken etc It made it perfectly clear that Sirius died and that Bellatrix murdered him, or maybe I misunderstood your post.

I saw it a couple of nights ago, and I was amazed at how much they left out, which I can understand as the film was quite long as it is.

But I really don't think they should have changed the plot - for one that just confused me as I didn't understand why they were all mad at Cho for a little while (having read the books and assumed the plot would stay the same).

For the next couple, is this going to get worse and worse? Especially the seventh, so much happened in it that I can see the film leaving out huge chunks.

Didn't they explain that he was on guard duty?

Apparently one of the final pages has been scanned and posted on the net and it contains very revealing information. Not sure to believe it or not, but I'm not looking anyway. I'll be avoiding the internet completely from Saturday onwarRAB until I finish reading the book

Only going on Saturday myself, wanted to make it a big event and go to a good cinema so had to do it at the weekend.

Considered the Odeon in Leicester Sq (I saw the last film there a day after the premier) but thought I'd try the new big screen at The o2. Got my gold class tickets ready so looking forward to the reclining leather seats and free popcorn :)

I guess what i really meant about that scene is - it felt really odd.

I got very confused at the end - when V went in to harry's head. wasnt sure what the hell was happening there!!!
