Harry Potter

Just got back from watching it! excellent film they did a really good job of it.

And didnt really miss too much out this time "although noticable" but expected and hidden really well.

Was not rushed and came togeather really well!

do not read this part if you dont want to spoil the film
only issue i had again is that they missed any part what so ever showing dobby , also the linking of kreacher with setting up harry.

i could go on but i dont want to spoil too much ;)

I saw it for a second time on Friday. LOVED IT :D - Thought it was much better than the first time I watched it.. think I understood it a lot better as well.

I liked it, but I didn't think it was amazing.

There were a few too many montage scenes, and they seemed to have decided that the best way to progress the film was to show newspaper cuttings everytime something happened. I suppose thats a product of the book being so long.

I only have a vague recollection of the book (probably my least favourite of the series). What were the main bits that everyone is saying were missed out?

Doesn't matter...everything that is important has to be reintroduced in each film anyway.

As much as I liked the film and feel it contains so many great moments, I still feel it could have been and wish it had been better. They really needed to underline things better to build up dramatic tension(for example how important occulmency was and the prophecy). SO many people I know (who haven't read the book) came out of it saying 'well....it was good...but what was the point in the movie?'

Went this morning. I agree it was good seeing The Dursleys again. I'm not too sure what to think of it. Goblet Of Fire was the best movie, followed by one, than two, than this one and finally the third.

The part where Voldemort possessed Harry was good. Sirius' death was terrible - but it was in the book. The next book is my favourite anyway.

Luna and Umbridge were fantastic. Evil cow! :p

also where are all the school ghosts in this film. especially where harry goes to ask nearly healdess nick if sirius can come back and why he a ghost and still around pretty importat I think.

second veiwing film is just as good once you accept bits have been missed out.:) :)

I cant be bothered to argue lol but put it this way. The Order of the Phenoix book is the longest of all 7. The order of the Pheonix film is the shortest of 5, does not make sense.

It was good, bt didnt flow and not necessarily what they left out but changed is what annoyed me. Harry is very angry in the book, he hardly raised his voice in the film. And what was with the ending? The ministry scenes were superb (brains=funny yet disturbing and they were left out).

Just seen the film, thought it was great, especially all the visual effects, and the fight scene at the end was amazing.
was kinda dissapointed that ron and hermione were not in the film as much as they had been in previous films and also draco malfoy was hardly in the film at all. but all the good stuff completely over shadows these parts and the film was great!

Imelda Staunton was BRILL! i loved umbridge!!! she was fabby :D luna was great too, as was bellatrix, all the new characters were played by good actors it made danny, rupert and emmas acting look quite poor....

good film though!!:)

Sunday night, I'm so excited, although I'm not sure whether thats for the film or the ice cream i'm going to eat while watching the film :o :D
