Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkabhan

yep i also watched the film on Monday and damm it was good.

i wont say anything about the film incase i post a spoiler :), i have never read the books but have the first 2 on dvd and will also be getting this great film on dvd aswell.

the thing that i thought was diff about this one was seeing them in there normal clothes for almost the whole movie were as in the first 2 they are just in the black cloake (sp) all the time, it gave a them more of a personality witch i think was a very good thing.

this film is the much watch movie of 2004 so far, its so good i am going again today to watch it :) just like i did with Troy and all of the LORT films ;)

Is no one dying to see OOTP? I love it, as theres not too much pointless action.... I know a teacher who could play Umbridge to perfection!

Wow, you're my double. The Knight Bus looks ewesome.

I love diaolgue. Subtley. Suspense. Not garish in your face action.

They should make adult versions of the films..... and I dont mean Mrs Weasley in clingfilm.

I saw it yesterday at 8.10am & found the film rather rushed. I spose this is expected from a director who said he'd never even heard of harry potter when he was offered the job id give it 6.5/10

Ive been waiting for POA just so we could finally meet Sirius Black. Without spoilling it for those who haven't read the book( where have you been for the past five years???) I loved the twist at the end. Lets just Sirius isn't what you have been expecting!

I saw it the other week when it first came out, and i have to say I wasn't at all impressed. I loved the other two movies and love all the books but i just found this film boring, i was waiting all through the movie for something interesting and grabbing to happen and nothing ever really did. I hope the next one is better.

Erm.... I have ordered my tickets for the preview on monday at 3pm. I hate the look of the ugly guy on the knight bus- WHY is he cgi? He should just be a spotty kid!

It was a cameo for cameo's sake!

The reason she got the cameo role was because the Director saw her play a spoof Harry Potter on BBC1's Red Nose Day TV programme, he liked her so much he offered her a cameo role.
Also I believe her hubby Lenny Henry played the voice of the 'weird head' on the Knight Bus.

:)

My mate read the books and told me that he is harrys uncle or godfarther or something. Not sure if he is telling the truth though. Would seem stupid caus he would then be related to the durslies. :S

I agree. I went to see it yesterday with my friend and I dragged my boyfriend along who hadn't read the books. I hated it! The setting looked terrible, the film was totally rushed, important chunks were left out, and the MUSIC!! What was that all about? It was like something out of "The Borrowers." I enjoyed the first 2 movies so this one was a major let down. Why did they waste so many scenes on pointless images of butterflies floating along, and flowers etc.? My boyfriend, who like I said never ead the books, was clueless as to what was happening with Hermione's time reverser and I don't blame him. That part was so rushed it was comical. Peter Pettigrew!!! I don't remember the book saying that he had teeth the size of shovel heaRAB! Sirius was great, but Lupin just came across as a pervert I'm sorry to say! All those little talks in private with Harry were irritating and dragged on considerably. I also thought the dementors were too LOTR, Mr. Weasley's advice to Harry about Sirius Black was badly timed in the movie and the addition of jamaican shrunken heaRAB didn't help matters at all!

Sorry to harp on, I must seem like such a boring nag but like I said, I enjoyed the books and first two movies so seeing them let down like this is unforgiveable for me! On the plus side I will say I think Daniel, Rupert and Emma's acting has improved, and the hippogriff looked impressive too!

I saw it today. I have to say this film is definatly not for kiRAB! The younger children in the audience were obviousley bored. However I think they did a good job, it was meant to be alot darker than the first two. Thats how the book was were.

The three kiRAB acting has improved alot, especially Hermione who I found to be quite cringeworty in the first two movies,I also thought the actor who Played Proffessor Lupin was very very good. Wasn't so impressed with Micheal Gambon as Dumbledore though. He wasn't as loveable as Richard Harris. There were huge hints about the future relationship of Ron and Hermione as well, even though it hasn't developed in the books yet, I know that there are hints about furture plotlines in the movies.

I saw it today and I have to say the three main characters, harry, ron and whatever she's called can't act to save their lives. And nothing much happened although I thought it was the best of the three but I wonder why I even go and see HP???
