Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkabhan

was very well made i believe , i love the books and the films gives you something extra to picture .

some of the story was a bit rushed especially the end but not a bad film

but the books i will read again and again excelent!

Finaly saw HP today! I loved it. FOund it anoying though how the setting had totaly changed (ie - The womping willow, hagriRAB cabin, Griphindoor common room etc )

Was it me or did the main hall look smaller? :S

Also, I think there are bits that should have been included, like how Lupin, sirus, james and wormtail made the maudrous map and how they were nicknamed Padfoot, prong etc, and how Snape had to make lupin potion to control his warewolf phase.

i LOVED they way everything froze when the dementors showed up. A nice addition :)

Apart from that, a GOOD film. Nice to see potters acting has aproved (Shame the weezly twins hasn't)

Saw it today in a place that says that it's 'fanatical about film.'

The first twenty minutes or so, were out of focus, and much of the rest of it seemed to be in the wrong aspect ratio - ie Harry's glasses were oval shaped!

Anyone else had the same experience?

Yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see the film. More Julie Walters/Mark Williams should be cool, and Gary Oldman will make a fantastic Sirius. I don't really think the film can do the book justice, but it'll definetly be enjoyable.

1. Yes, i would have liked there to be some explanation about Moody,Wormtail,Padfood and Prongs..... there was an ideal opportunity in Lupins office @ the end- maybe it's a deleted scene.

2. I AGREE, Fred and George are such awful actors! They have really annoying voices too..

They seemed to edit alot and cut out alot but overall it was a good film, you could tell that the director was different as...well....it was alot better!

Me too, didn't that director make that brilliant film about the haunted house with Nicole Kidman (OMG I've forgotten its name  )

Hopefully Prisoner of Azkaban is watchable... didn't think much of the first two - felt like I was watching Home Alone (which, when you think about it, is hardly a wonder)

Although to maintain continuity, I doubt we'll get rid of all the little things that irritated me in the earlier films

Hmmm.... I think the problem with the first two films was the director- I mean, how annoying is he? I'm looking forward to HP, but on the trailer the CGI looked patchy, as usual. :o

My sister who is eight, was not at all scared by the dementors (I was :o ), but she was absolutely petrified of the bit where Pam Ferris inflated (she was crying and said she wanted to go home) . I thought the film was really good, definitly the best of the three.
