Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

RH was a good DD ... He came across as a lot more caring i personally thought and as we learnt in OOTP he did love Harry and so i think RH would of pulled that off better than MG. MG isnt great but i can also see that yes he does pull off the pyhsical role of Dumbledore better but then he is younger and isnt frail which RH was.

mclaggen attempting to flirt with hermione at slughorns party was brilliant. everyone in the cinema was silent for a split second and then fell about laughing after realising what had happened. also loved harry on felix felicis. hilarious

i didnt think much of the ending though. it just seemed to fizzle out. and they missed out too much stuff for my liking like:

the peverells. they originally had the wand, cloak and stone that made up the deathly hallows and it's important for the audience to know that voldy is a direct descendent

and dumbledore explaining about the charm on number 4 privet drive that will break as soon as harry turns 17. important because there's the escape sequence at the start of dh

why wasn't harry punished for using sectumsempra curse on malfoy?

no mention of slytherins locket, hufflepuRAB cup, ravenclaws diadem or anything else that could have been a horcrux. my friend who hadn't read the book had no idea why there was a locket in the basin

the crap battle at the end. harry would not just stand and let snape go near dumbledore if he knew dumby couldnt defend himself. he just wouldnt. he would have gone and fought him

hermiones character went a bit wrong too i think. ok, she was upset about ron and lavender, but crying all over harry? no. one of the themes of the 7th book is wondering if they'll end up together because neither will admit they like the other

and, although it's not important, jk rowling never actually said that malfoy had a dark mark. it was pretty obvious he had one, but she never actually wrote that he did. i think thats important because he turned out to be good in the end (sort of)

Hi everyone, my god its been a while since ive posted in here, i tried to avoid it so parts of the film werent ruined! But yeh, seen the film yesterday and MY GOD.. I thought it was awful :(
IMO, the sudden romances were just so unrealistic it was laughable, the whole tying up Harrys shoe laces? Oh nay! I actually got bored quite a lot throughout. I am so disappointed. I hate to say all this! I was so excited but I just feel like sending a book to the writers of the film and asking them whether they actually read it or not!

I will tell her of your interest :D I doubt she will want it putting around on the internet before its submitted but i'm sure i can trust you to not exploit it :D

I know, i hope she rejects the proposal!! :D

You ask whats wrong with me...?
My best friend Jimmy said oh he's just being Sammy :D

I can't think of any reason why they would need to delay it either. From all the news of the film, everything seems to be going absolutely fine.

Dont forget they did not start filming till about 12-45am and yeah they shut down traffic in between filming. Probabley about 150 fans watching and about 120 would of been American fans. On the night i was there they was probabley there about an hour and a half and then left. They had clearly got most filming in the night before.

I never realised what a hassle it is for them to film on the street , esp with it being Potter as they had to keep telling fans not to take photos while they filmed, also to make sure they was not in the shot as they filmed. plus fans kept trying to sneek into the shot and pretend to be extreas. So secretiy had to be on top of there game.

I can't see it doing very well so I wouldn't worry about it :D

Yeah apart from trailers, i will avoid the other clips... :p Well i will watch interviews.. thats allowed surely! :D

Lol :D

Ive never really seen William before. He looks fit in the first pic though and I think he's alot better looking than Ben Barnes :) theres some pics of Jamie Bell on that site and i think hes nice in a weird way. :) ok completely went off topic there

Me too. It's so sad. I got a bit teary during 'The Prince's Tale' too when,

We found out that Snape's patronus was a doe, like Lily's. :(

Maybe it's just me, but I never saw that (the whole relationship) coming! :o :D

I always think that about HP films - that's why I wait for someone to give me a free dvd.

Half Blood Prince is a fantastic book, my favourite of the whole lot, and they've turned it into a comedy if all the reviews show anything.

I'm so glad there's fan fiction to fall back on to keep the HP universe going.
