Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Very true...

 And if i did read them, the characters i picture in my head would be completely different! Although when i read the book i see Harry a bit differently

Evening!

PMSL I just put Pygmy Puff in the search on Facebook and there's a couple of groups called things like "I heart Arnold the Pygmy Puff" and "I want a Pygmy Puff" lol!

I can't believe how many people think Order is the worst book. OK the stuff with the giants and Grawp was overkill from JKR but the rest of it is brilliant. It totally blew me away when I first read it. I mean, the series had obviously been fantastic up to this point, but this was something else. Everything about the Ministry, the Prophecy, the veil, the part in the hospital with Neville's parents, the Dementor opening, Grimmauld Place etc. was much bigger than anything so far.

I still think The Lost Prophecy is the best chapter Jo has ever written...er, no, second best chapter, the best is The Forest Again in Deathly Hallows! It was obvious that she deliberately went less in-depth with Half-Blood Prince to make it shorter for everyone who whined. And aside from giving us more background about Voldemort there wasn't much more story for her to tell as it had to be saved for the last book. I thought the parts with Harry being obsessed with Ginny were pretty weak, and Hermione/Ron. The Draco mystery was boring too. The story was nothing like as masterful as it had been for Order, Goblet of Fire and Prisoner of Azkaban. It was a good job the end was up to scratch or else I might rate it the weakest of all 7!

Oh heres a question to the HP fans on here (been meaning to ask this for ages, kept forgetting). Whats your favorite HP film so far?

For me it has to be the first one because we were intrudced to the characters in a very good way and also how Hoqwarts looks like. My other fave film is GOF this film is darker and the starting of something *evil* The challanges were filmed very good-ly (is that a word?- sorry I blame my lack of sleep :()

I refuse to believe that! (Not really, i'm not that stubborn :p)

I remember its release like it was yesterday. I watched JKR reading the chapter live on the internet at midnight, and then the morning after i had to go to my work, which i hated, but cos' it was in the middle of the shopping center, i could sneek into WHS and read the last chapter. :p (A member of Staff said that many people were doing that throughout the day :D )

Then i bought it on the Wednesday after, the day before my holiday. It only took me two weeks to read, probably cos' i was so bored. But i was well chuffed! And the book was great. I especially liked the image of the Dementors gliding over the captured half-blood families at the MOM.

I think soo too or else shes just out of the bath or something!

But then her hair could be wet if shes fallen into that water when running or something!

i just dont like it that much.. the first time i read it i didnt like the flash back bits.. and o dont know why i just dont think its as good as the rest lol.. i thought at first that i just didnt like the later books, but i loved the 7th!!

I didnt know it was a year today! i went to asda at midnight lol :D

i began the books yeah when i was about 10 or 11. I wanted my letter. Its not that i think they are completely wrong - they do have their moments at being perfectly as i imagined them but just sometimes i think thats not right.
It took me a day to read DH. I only got it about 10 or 11am. I then read it straight through from beginning to end until 2am - i had breaks but only for necessary things such as food and drink.
I have to say i always see how many pages there are in a book and how many pages. So i can work out how far i am through the book. It has to be pretty accurate.
