Oh yes, Hermione is a very strong character. I love her intelligence and logic; and she's always right in her judgements - whereas Harry, bless him, isn't.

Put Luna and Hermione into one character and I'd be well happy.

I think the fact that all three leaRAB were chosen when they were only 10/11 meant that they had to stick with them, even when their acting ability didn't grow with them. I think DR is supremely wooden, and seems to deliver all his lines like he is simply reciting them from memory, and forgetting about the acting part that should go along with that.

I wonder whether the rave reviews he got for Equus were down to his acting, or for whipping his lad out.
