Im not 100% on who makes final decisions but most of it would be down to the guy who does the screeplay.

Steve Kloves did the first four
Michael Goldenberg did OOTP as Steve took a break.
Steve has now returned for HBP. Not 100% on DH.

He would probably make the initial cuts in his screenplay which I would imagine would be passed by people like David and then of course Jo would read it and give her approval.

It was when she was reading the screenplay for HBP that she scribbled the little note saying Dumbledore was gay! :)

So yerr I would guess the main decisions are made between the screeplay writer, director and Jo! :cool:
 
ME NEITHER!! I've been good today and I've only watched the trailer once......but I did pre -order the tales of the beedle of the bard....:o:o:D:D
 
I'm at 7.20, when i went to watch chamber of secrets i hadn't booked and ended up in your situation so made sure i booked for all the rest of them!!

I'm looking forward to my Hot date with Harry tonight!! :D

On the directors - i disliked Chris Columbus - far too cheesy and corny. After seeing the first, i decided to boycott the second, which i did but then shortly before the 3rd came out and everyone was saying it was good so i borrowed 1&2 from a friend.
I quite liked 3 and still like it. I liked 4 as well as a movie.
I don't really like 5 - its ok but i just get confused throughout the film.

I actually cried watching this trailer (embarrassingly enough!) but the film looks fantastic! Cannot wait, I wish it was on sooner though.
