Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

In Bournemouth.

I take it you watched Any Dream Will Do?? Two of the finalists from that were in Joseph - Craig Chalmers played Joseph and was very good and Antony Hansen played Pharaoh and was not so good!!

There were a couple of other guys from ADWD who didnt make the finals playing the brothers, who were all brilliant and so funny!

The narrator is played by Tara Bethan from I'd Do Anything but she doesn't do the 5pm shows on Saturday so we had someone different.

I haven't seen Joseph since watching Philip Schofield as the lead at the London Palladium many years ago. I knew it was good but had forgotten quite how good it was and I had forgotten some of the songs. It was remarkable though how the lyrics came flooding back to me and I was singing along with the songs, and knew all the colours of the coat!! :o :o

There is not one song from Joseph that I don't like but think my fave song is "Benjamin's Calypso" :D

Not yet seen it, but I know that is one aspect that I will hate about HBP. There is enough utter throwaway crap about teen angst and love out there in filmland already without bogging down the franchise with it. They are teens so therefore it is a given that they are going to want to get their rocks off. I don't really think we need it shown on screen anymore than it is necessary.

I think that the last two films were both rubbish, but at least GOF was less boring than OOTP.

My hopes aren't high for HBP, loved the book, but as a film i think it'll be quite boring, like OOTP, and with David Yates directing.... Hmm....

Oh well! The first three films were the best, but maybe the sixth one will join them in my top favorates :)

I think they're splitting up the book into 2 films in a way, to please the fans, but that book has so much in it that you just can't cut because it's important for the final outcome - what the deatgly hallows are, how to find them etc.

A lot of that film is going to be the 3 of them stuck in a tent so I'm sure they'll jazz things up a little bit. I see what you mean about 'drivel' because the books have a lot of what you would call 'filler stories' which would not progress the story on screen (which is why they're cit and I agree with that).

If you read around even though JK didn't put it in the epilogue, she has said that Luna does have future . . .

Personally i always thought that Neville and Luna should've got together, but then i love Harry/Ginny so i can't see them with anyone else but each other.

Hmm that is a shame, maybe they will try and get back as many of the featured cast as they can even if they werent in the final battle in the book for the final battle in the film! Heres hoping :D

Ah sitting on the border.../fence! Why dont you just go marry Rachel :p Or her boyfriend.. he featured tonight didn't he! Well he werent what i was expecting :D

LOL yes... never! Such an eastenders line :D
