Harry and Paul on BBC2 9:30pm Tue

The self righteous brothers by far his best creation IMHO. Not so hot on this new show though has the little britain keep repeating the joke until it is flogged to death approach.

Like the black trafic warden as well.

Harry lost the plot a long time ago I remember him being interviewed before the launch of his Sky1 show
he said it would be funnier because he would be able to put more bad language in to his sketches.

The 'must be queer' sketch, and the pet northerner sketch are both repetitive and tedious. The one with the two Radio Four documentary makers in the high street is also unfunny.

That one was distinctly odd, and I'm not sure what was supposed to be funny about it.

I liked the show in general tonight. Cafe Polska is always good. I Saw You Coming seemed to smack of real loathing, more than usual.

Then clearly you know little if anything about the Beatles. Maybe you are too young, as I'd guess you'd have to be over 50 or be familiar with A Hard Day's Night film to really get it. Everyone I've spoken to who remembers the Beatles have said Harry and Paul's parody of them is both funny and accurate..The only negative comments I've come across have been on RAB

OK, I'm still at the "seriously irritating" stage with that sketch, I haven't achieved the higher level of understanding that you have gravitated to!

This series is rubbish let's be honest! It's got a cheek calling itself a comedy, there's meant to be gags in comedies isn't there???!!! Wtf has happened to Harry, he used to be the funniest guy on television.

I am enjoying this series, some of the sketches and characters deserve a higher profile than Tuesday on BBC2.I do get the impression though that quite a few of the youthful "rude generation" comics who arrived loudly in the eighties with a v sign to what had gone before are now somewhat lost simply because they became middle aged.

Have to say the man- crushing Eastern European female accents are fabulous-if all women had that accent Im sure they would rule the world. Oh and I missed "ere you Beatles" tonight.
