"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Aww, man, I forgot all about Ani-Monday... I got up at 6:00 AM today. I'll be lucky if I make it 'til 10:00 PM. Ah well. I'll probably end up buying the DVRAB at some point.
 
Huh. That's...different. Well, new material is always good. Recap movies may not be going anywhere, but at least they seem to get that people want to get something fresh for their time.
 
It's sad to see Gurren Lagann end, given that it's such a fantastic and epic show- these last 3 episodes are proof enough. It's amazing to see the transformation these characters have had over the course of the series.

Aw Kitan =[ I hate that he died. But man, Yoko has some bad luck with men going off to battle and not coming back (and while knowing he wouldn't too). Speaking of death, Nia's death is also very upsetting. I really fought to hold back my tears during those final few scenes.
Very fitting, and very epic way to end a good show. The bright, flashy colors alone are brilliant enough to give anybody watching hope for tomorrow. Even though Simon enRAB up physically alone, I think that mentally he's in a happy state of mind, just wandering the earth with those he loves in his heart. This show gives a new meaning to the word amazing.

Notice, however, how the only reason Simon was able to have a positive attitude is because of Kamina's frienRABhip and guidance.

You can`t keep kicking a turtle and expect it to come out of it's shell. You have to be friendly with someone who is in a depression to get them out of it. Shinji stayed the way he did because no one truly reached out to him or believed in him like Kamina did with Simon.
 
I wish this was a joke. I saw the schedule on TV and I can't believe that Sci-Fi's doing this. I'm glad I have the final three episodes in order on I-Tunes so I can relive the last night of GL back when it first premiered on the network. Those were the days. All three episodes giving us a night we will never forget. And then this network had to give us more Rave Master. Peh.
