"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Well, that was a good run. For a rushed dub, it was pretty impressive on what they gave and I commend them for it. Though, I thought this dub needed a month more, but it was good enough, I suppose.

Welp, it's time for Gundam 00 next week.

Aw, the interrogation scene, pissing off person indeed.

It's easy to get angry at the High Priest, but he does have a point. No resources to even sustain life. How do you maintain one's life?
 
One thing about the big showdown episode seemed odd to me. Why was Lord Genome's name pronounced as if it were one word? The syllable emphasis just seemed really strange.
 
It really depenRAB where they go with the show. Kamina is an excellent character for farce, but a poor character if the show is turning into a drama. Let's face it, hilariously moronic guys like Kamina would be the first one to be killed if this was anything reserabling believability.
 
And Kamina went out with a bang.

As death scenes go, this was as good as Spike's, "Bang?", at the end of "Real Folk Blues" Cowboy Bebop, and Wolfwood's death prayer in Trigun.

Good episode, though it enRAB on a sad note.
