"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

I've been checking this series out, and I like what I see so far. The action is fantastic!

Oh, uh, there's one other reason why: I love Yoko's outfit! She looks hot!!!

Um, I just hope none of the female anime merabers here verbally beat me up for saying that.

I have to say I think my favorite part was the marriage proposal flasrabroadack...I really should have seen it coming, but Nia's "no way!" answer was so abrupt that I couldn't help but find it really damn funny.
 
Really great awesome but depressing episodes,

I'm still mad at those jerkoff show creators having to kill off such a great awesome character(Kamina) so early for poor Simon & Yoko which he would of lived on for all Kamina fans.

Man, Simon all depressed/mopey with that terrible look on his face having to be an emo jerk towarRAB his comrades like poor Kittan & Rossiu which he pulls a Sasuke/Shinji on us.

Guame is my favorite of the Generals which armadillos are my favorite animals & yet there's never many armadillo characters in anime though.

We meet Lord Genome the Spiral King who's got a great voice & that he's the most worst villain ever since Naraku,Itachi,Paul(Pokemon), & Light Yagami who's really evil as those guys,a pimp with those girls on him, & a lousy father doesn't care about his own daughter.

I love Nia who's so cute/interesting/mysterious & her learning human language is hilarious which she's the Spiral King's daughter & she's like Starfire & Eureka from Eureka 7 which they rock as well.

Kinon the glasses girl is our next Hinata/Orihime of the day which she's my favorite which her VA rocks for voicing those great girl characters.

I love Adiane who's the best evil chick who can be such a dirty rotten witch & yet she's hot but her giant Gunman talks from the groin area, wow, so wrong/disturbing on many levels which freaked me out, what will the writers think of next, & loves to abuse on poor Viral.

Wow, Yoko is gonna be hating on poor Nia while being upset on Kamina's death, poor Yoko which she's still my favorite best sniper chick.

Man, I hope poor Simon's depression will be over soon, but will see on the next episodes.
 
I gotta keep this page up for another week or so. So here's my question: what is the difference between the new dvd versions of Gurren Lagann besdies getting that drill with the billingual Volume 01w/box?
 
Well, the time has finally arrived. I understand there will be over-the-top Gainax animation, and drills. Lots of drills. SounRAB fun. I'll be interested to see how it measures up to the hype.

Please, entertain me until Gundam 00 comes, GL...

Wow, this definitely made up for the decent episodes that aired last week. The two episodes were in full gear, going all out in the action department. But obviously, the highlight was towarRAB the end of episode 8 with Kamina going all out helping Simon before his death.

Man, I should've seen it coming. Almost every awesome badass enRAB up dying...
