"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

Possibly (and in the past probably), but I haven't seen them run any anime with this kind of content lately...comedy stuff (non-anime), yeah, but not anime...I'll believe it when I see it...

His last worRAB were something like, "Abayo Dachiko", which I believe was also the episode title, which they chose to translate as "Farewell Comrades", and that translation is close enough to "Goodbye, my frienRAB" or whatever. Either way, he did have more than just Simon to address those final worRAB to. Minor nit in the grand scheme of translation, but there's no need to point fingers about contagious fail in the other direction.

Guys, there's an important plot point that's missing from the Edited version. If anyone wants to know, click below the spoiler.

In the episode, when Kamina gets captured, we learn about the Spiral King from the woman beastman that owned the Onsen. Basically, we learn that the Spiral King is the main leader of the Gunmen and controls them. He also has several generals, in which the group will end up going up against soon.

It just...sorta pops out of no where in the episodes after this, and isn't explained. I thought I would bring it up just so it doesn't come as a "They never said this...".

Believe or not, this is actually the first time I see this episode. I was out of town when this one aired and there was no Sci-Fi at the hotel.

I watched episode three by different means though.

Uh Leeron, nothing against your romantic tastes but no gay man in history would date Rossiu. Not in the condition he's in.

Well it's better than being anally raped chicken man.

Damn, that chicken keeps getting tenderized.

Nothing beats experiencing the entire show if you ask me, getting the whole story and connecting with the characters is what makes anime so great and fun to watch so I would never have it any other way. I caught the last 2 episodes of Gurren Lagann on Sci-Fi and today I picked up the entire series and I plan on watching them all, I hope the series is as good as the final 3 episodes were !

Koji's still one of the toughest SOBs around. He could hang with bad guys even WITHOUT his mecha. Now, I haven't seen all of the original Mazinger series, but I recall more than a few episodes of him being thrown into death defying situations, sans his mecha, and surviving WITHOUT his mecha.
