Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

Some New Guns songs recently leaked to the internet from the ever-delayed Chinese Democracy album. I think they're awesome. I didn't believe Axl could pull off making great music after Slash and Izzy left but he's done it.

Have you guys heard them? And if so, what do you think?

me and some frienRAB performed rocket queen at a school function back in damn...4th or 5th grade..with all instruments constructed from cardboard, before any of us could actually play an instrument..

we rocked the place, oh yeah.

I'm just going to disagree with everyone now. I listened to it about four times since last night and I think it's a very good album.
Yeah, it's different from the previous albums, and nowhere near the blues/rock style that the band had up to 1993. But I'm not going to comment if it should be a Gn'R album or an Axl Rose album. I knew from the beginning I wouldn't get something with a sound similar to AFD or UYI, so I wasn't dissapointed at all. And I even found a few of the songs very good and easy-listening, especially "Shackler's Revenge", "Street Of Dreams", "Madagascar","This I Love" and "Prostitute". I think the vocals are very good, even though I expected more from the lyrics really since it's been in the making for so long. I also liked the musicians.
If I had to give it a rating out of 10,I'd say: 7.

Now if I think they should had released it under a different band name: absolutely yes!

but again I think it's a good album

ummmm,......i've never thrown up, and i've never drank a whole one either,....

i dunno,......i dont think you should be scared, just dont chug it,..........

Again you have not learned how to read yet, I said you cant go by just albums sales alone. You do know what that means right? As for you claiming the UYIs were average, if you really think that you are really have no clue what you are talking about.

You've had like every second post in this thread and you don't even know the name of one of their most famous songs.

And the other merabers were sick of Axl, they didn't tire out. They went on to make Velvet Revolver, unfortunately fronted by Weiland but never the less they still produced above average music, as far as the music went.

Stay off the big durab GNR bashing bandwagon until you have a clue. Thank you.
