Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

it's worth a download, not really a purchase though. i mean it's not good for the amount of time it took, but not terrible either. a good listen, imo, but don't expect the same GNR.

Is this thread still going on LOL>
RS mags lists are ****. Did you see the top guitarits of all time? No slash, no dave navarro, no buckethead, and look at the top 20 its was a terrible.

Axl really neeRAB to let dead dogs lie and just try to work it out with Slash, he really neeRAB him.

Hell even the new SP have two original merabers instead of just one.

A GnR without Matt or Duff sure, but a GnR without Izzy is a stetch, let alone a GnR without Slash, which is just foolish.

Guitar is the most important ingredient in GnRs music. Not even Buckethead with his amazing technical prowess could play Slash's stuff live, he even f*cked up the riff to Welcome to the Jungle.

Weither or not Ron "Burablefoot" Thal (the new lead guitarist) will do any better is anyones guess, I can say that I know for a fact he is a damn good guitarist, but he's a shredder, and shredders don't belong in GnR.

To say they were the biggest since the beatles is nuts.
I dont know how you cant accept that...maybe axl's super h0mo erotic tight pants really sealed ur devotion to GNR but they arent the biggest since the beatles....end of story.

Guns n' Roses are a grossly overrated band. I've seen people who have the never to compare then to Led Zeppelin. That's almost laughable, if it wasn't such blashphemy. They have maybe 4 or 5 good songs, and after that, there's nothing worth listening to.

Well I can thank Guns N' Roses for me being such a music appreciater (spelling?) and for music having such an influence on my life. I found there GREATEST HITS thanks to a friend and finally heard some GNR other than "Welcome To The Jungle", "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child O Mine" (all very good songs). I fell in love instantly, especially with songs like "Patience", "You Could Be Mine", "Noveraber Rain" and most of all "Don't Cry".

I am a die-hard, and am proud to say. I love every single album and every single era they have gone through (with the exception of SPAGHETTI INCIDENT). There songs have really gotten through to me more than any others and I look at GNR as the greatest rock band to ever live. It really is too bad about all thats happened.

I am a huge fan of BOTH Axl Rose, and of course, Slash.

I do like the new Guns. Something that may not be the case for many Original GNR Fans and such. But I do like the new Guns and the band that Axl has put together. CHINESE DEMOCRACY was something I followed and looked forward to for years and I have a hard time NOT classifying it as my favorite album of all time as I have never got to see the release of a GNR album until now. The music is suberb. I always have loved Axl's soft side when it comes to music and CHIDEM captures the best of it. Its non-stop, top notch music and I love it.

Sometimes, yes, the bull**** is dissapointing and frustrating. Like (1) Why did CHIDEM take so long. (2) Where are you right now and why hasn't there been any interviews/ tours/ performances/ publicity? (3) What happened exactly with the original GNR? But, I can't let it get in the way of the music. Its just too good.

I got to see my hero in concert in Noveraber 2006 with Guns N' Roses in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and loved it. A dream come true.

I saw some pics from when he first kicked off The Chinese Democracy Tour (about two years ago) at the Whiskey and he was a fluffy muthafukka. Big lovehandles spilling over his waistband

Because of talk show culture, you assume that the word liberal has a political connotation to it. Being liberal has nothing to do with how things are governed.

If I was to say sprinkle cinnamon liberally, its got nothing to do with the affiars of the city state.
