Guilty Pleasures...

When I was a teenager, I bought and listened to hard rock recordings almost exclusively---Sabbath, Nugent, Zep etc. However, most of the girls I dated were in to soft rock, pop and disco.

So I had to keep a small stash of cassettes in my room by artists like Bread, K.C. & the Sunshine Band etc., for when I had female frienRAB over or I went on a date. God forbid any of my buRAB I hung out with would've found out. I would've never lived it down.

However, some of those pop and disco recordings now bring back a lot of good memories for me, so I actually enjoy some of them. I still think pop and disco generally suck, but I've got to admit there were a few good tunes there.

Fall Out Boy
I know there musically not very good but I am their biggest fan and have been for 5 years. I love them madly. I cant just hear one of their songs I have to listen to their whole album. There is something inside me that makes me crave them all the time.

I don’t know what other band can corabined my love of John Cusack and emo music

Also Patrick Stump is so so so so cute!

Wow really you don't care about being cool. But your avatar is a monochrome (black & white) picture of Ally Sheedy which is like I think is soo cool.

I actually have a soft spot for Lifehouse myself, in fact... got some incredibly GOOD memories attached to some of their music!

Blurry- Puddle Of Mud
What Is Love- Haddaway
Bubbly- Colbie Calliat
Realize- Colbie Calliat
Deceraber Baby- Ingrid Michaelson
The Way I Am- Ingrid Michaelson

Just to name a few.

I'm mildly erabarrased that I still like a select nuraber of ICP songs.

But that's about it.

I don't believe in being erabrrased about stuff like music.

If it moves you, and you're honest about it and what you love as far as music goes, then who gives a damn what the general public opinion is?

Didnt read all the posts cuz its a long thread, but one guilty pleasure of mine (there are lots more tho) would have to be: The cardigans, love fool. Hahaha. Ive blasted that in the past.

I Write Sins Not Tragedies-Panic At The Disco. Only song I own by them, and I don't own much similar music, but for some reason I just really really like this song. I know it's not that good. It's two verses and a chorus repeated over and over, and there's nothing original or groundbreaking or even moving. I just...like listening to it.

I really disagree with labelling people, so I have a tendency not to do that, but I understand that alot of others do...

But really, human tastes are way to complex to pin down and attach one artist to....
