Guilty Pleasures...

I'll second Jason Mraz. Paramore is a guilty pleasure of mine. I've heard so many people attack Paramore for being pop fluff but damnit if their songs aren't catchy.

I was talking about post mid 70s Mac.

Nicks/Buckingham era Mac >>>>>>>>> Green era.

You fail to understand that rock can still be pop.

But Van Halen have a lot of very catchy, poppy songs which get radioplay like you wouldn't believe. Maybe pop metal is the correct term, all I know is that they're pop-something.

I meant their music more than their status.

Even their more experimental works like Revolver and Sgt Peppers are pop to some degree. Taxman, Got To Get You Into My Life, With A Little Help From My FrienRAB, Getting Better, all pop songs. And Abbey Road is a pop album any way you slice it.

And this dosen't define The Beatles how again?

Our definitions of pop music is different. If its very catchy and accessible, its pop music. Meaning almost any music of any genre can be pop music.

How You Remind Me - by Nickelback. I think a lot of people are erabarrassed to like this one. I wish there'd be a mass confession or something.

That pseudo psychology wont work plus I never claimed to have some form of higher intellect, in fact without autism how could I. Oh and I also stick to my own opinions whether healthy or not, and no I'm not blind and riddled with a lack of maturity.

Superfluous comments like that already show your hell bent on ridiculing me until you seek some form of calm about my allegations against Morrissey, I just hope you're actually a Smiths fan and this hasn't been in vain.

Tormato is one of their weakest albums. In fact the band nearly broke up because of it, and it's the reason Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman left Yes only shortly after it's release. There are some strong tracks, my favorites are Onward, On The Silent Wings Of Freedom and Release, Release.

Don't Kill The Whale and Arriving UFO aren't bad songs, but they suffer from horrible lyrics and some of the cheesiest synthesizers ever put on record. The best thing about the whole album is Chris Squires phenomenal bass playing.

90125 is a good pop album. Also the last good album they did until Magnification. :(

I'm supposed to upload some stuff for that MDHTV guy, which I haven't gotten down to doing yet. When I do I'll send the rest of Yes's 70s stuff to you.
