Groundhog Day - Modern classic

Brilliant film. Easily one of my favourite comedies!

Every time I watch it always get this song stuck in my head though :D

If I was in the same situation it certainly asks some interesting questions, it basically gives somebody free reign to do what ever they like without consequences for either you (apart from your memories of the things you had done) or anybody else. If you had to live life this way how long would it be before people started indulging their darker sides.

I love the subtle changes Bill Murray goes through in each scene :D

Psychaiatrist: I think I can book an appointment... how's tomorrow for you?

:D :D Murray's reaction in that scene is priceless :)

I think its a great film, favourite scene is where Phil kills himself and the groundhog, apparently Murray and Harold Ramis didnt speak for few years after it was made as Bill wanted the film to be more philosophical and deep, while Harold Ramis wanted the film to be more comedic

Great film. Like Trading Places, it's in the "they don't make 'em like that any more" genre of comedies that manage to be intelligent without being over-sophisticated. Basically anyone with two brain cells to rub together can enjoy films like those, but if you've got four brain cells you'll like them even more.
